Here is the body in half at the neckline.  I have the gathers done on the tops of the sleaves, but I think it needs more gathers to help the arm fit in the armhole.  I will get more pictures of that also.

I have my linen out and am cutting.  The pattern comes from Janet Arnold  "Patterns of Fashion 4"
1659 Shirt.  I choose this one because it has a simple gather at the cuffs, shoulder and the collar.
I don't have time to do blackwork on this smock with the holidays coming up. 

Motivation

Life is slowing down a bit, now I need the motivation to get going with my project.
I'm starting my smock made from white linen.  It will be pleated at the neckband and cuffs.
